Take your time and study the qualities and the uniqueness of the individual. Don't get confused with this search for what they call here in London as "THE ONE." There is no such thing. Forget about what fairy tale books, magazines, films and what the media told you about what love is, and ladies, don't expect to be SWEPT of your feet. Why would you be putting so much emphasis on this occurring and if it doesn't happen, this sweeping off my feet lark, then it is not love. Go beyond that. Go beyond the myths. Take your time and find inner peace within yourself as it is possible that the energy that you put into to finding love, is exactly what is making you find total assholes (excuse my French). Like a very wise person said to me as advice a long time ago, about a woman who always complained about the gits she kept on meeting, and some how didn't seem to feel that she was partly responsible for this happening. The wise person said to me "You pick til you pick shit" which means that with all the relationships a person has or could possibly have, what does the individual do, JUST PICK CRAP, and this can happen AGAIN AND AGAIN. I could go deeper but I have got to go shopping to buy dinner for the weekend, but remember LOVE is NOT a noun, it is not a THING that just so happens to be, and when you so call fall into it, it is everything. Nonsense. It is a doing, or an action word. It is a verb. "Don't tell me that you love me, but SHOW ME, through your actions." Now thats a good place to start. We should all carry love with us when we interact with people regardless of their relationship to us, whether it be friend, foe, family, stranger or lover. LOVE is the key to everything. Remember, there is no such thing as FALLING IN LOVE, because this word FALLING sounds like you are entering something and you are not stable, and that could be mentally, emotionally or physically. I ain't falling for nothing because I need to have my wits about me, so please do not fall for that old trick. Learn to love yourself first then it is sooooo much easier to love another person. Like Sir Marvin Gaye said on 'Here, my dear' album, "Life is for learning", now that is the meaning of life, so while you are here on this planet, learn to love yourself and learn to know about love, give love, feel love and be loved. Like a friend of mine said to me many years ago, "I have not got a man but you know what I do when I feel a bit down. I put on my lovely lingerie and listen to my favourite artist, and I just feel great! Love yourself and feel content with who you are. Girls forget about looking for the man who can fill out his trousers or who has the fattest wallet. Men, forget about checking women who have a nice 'Back off' or who look like they can 'Drop it like it hot!'
