This year draws to a close and we are still plugging away in the studio and trying to work with others to get Peven to your city. Your continued support fuels this ship. We both thank you.
I wanted to speak to you directly because Peven is modest.
I can verify that he works on this music and studies new things tirelessly because
he believes you are never through learning. I have known Peven for 10 years now and I can
say he strives to use his full potential and succeeds. Hard work deserves recognition even
when some don't want him to have it. Believe me there are those that don't.
I see people write all the time that Peven Everett is the most under rated artist in the world.

I have been working by Peven Everett's side for sometime now and I would like to address an issue on his behalf. There seems to be a pattern that occurs like clockwork every year. I am now assuming because it happens every year that it is some form of sabotage. This has been happening to him since Gabrielle consistently and the releases that come from collaborations with labels always look the same. Negotiations cause Peven to compromise his wishes in exchange for the promise of live appearances to see his fans.
Peven was willing to make the sacrifice to see his people.
Everytime a DJ is selected to break the release and Peven is let down.
Every time we spend weeks working on making things happen only to realise we would be better off alone. The other thing that seems to occur is booking agents also spend weeks of our time getting paper work discussing tours only to disappear after spending up all of the time we could have been booking elsewhere. We have decided as a company to try to take the bull by the horns so to speak.
There will be a series of petitions that we will release per destination. We will use these to aid us in booking Peven appearances near you. Please sign the petition related to your country or city.
As Peven has said on many occasions "let the people decide".
The choice is yours. We thank everyone for their support.

Regardless his promo was misleading and illegal.
Peven Everett's name is not subject for public use and promotions unrelated to his career and without permission.
Studio Confession seeks only honest as well as fair business.

Defamation is when someone damages your reputation based on false hoods.
The truth has not been misrepresented
What is defamatory is that you are claiming that you have ever made contact directly with Peven.
This blog is maintained by the label for Peven. (unless the post is signed by him)
You affiliated your name and your livelyhood to Peven's name without asking and basically it looked as though Peven would be attending your event.
We wouldn't even be having this issue if you had done your business correctly.

If you love under exposed music hipping others to the stuff you like and requesting it is the way that it will be heard by a wider audience.

The reason I may seem ellusive to you is that in a climate where live
instrumentation and melodies are missing in action, I am the enemy.
Ethics and integrity get you trouble.
The Truth is often mistaken for bias or a perfectionist mentality when actually
it is just the truth.
I make music everyday because the creator allows me to get down and I always will.
No matter who tries to stop it.

songwriters and producers with original ideas.

The truth is never o.k. to overlook no matter what big time CEO it's concerning. You can not silence everyone because then you'll have no more people to control. They'll all be dead or coming after you. One or the other. Without truth our standards get lowered and we all become closer to the evil in the world rather than what's good in the world.

Ted you were a symbol of honesty or shall I say the hope that we'd one day achieve honesty in politics. Some people just don't want the truth out and those people will always be willing to give you less than what you pay for and deserve. Keep your head up and love yourself no matter what.

"If not for a death-defying brush with a semi, Peven Everett might not be headlining the new Friday Night Dance Party this week at Double Door. “I was in a cab coming from a rehearsal at Betty Carter’s house,” says the renowned multi-instrumentalist, who’d declined a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music to pursue a jazz career in NYC. “I get out because the cab driver was overcharging—his meter is flying abnormally fast—and an 18-wheeler comes by, takes the car door off and my trumpet case with it.”

After briefly blacking out, Everett awoke to find his trumpet miraculously in pristine condition. “Something deep in me said, ‘This is not what you want to do,’” the Chicago native says. “It made me come home, spread my head open and see what was there. I found it was something more all-encompassing.” Since then, Everett has launched his label, Studio Confession, releasing dozens of albums in house, soul and jazz."

I told you. I told you. Talent means more than anything. 30,000,000 hits on Youtube for Susan Boyles performance. Your voice is beautiful and an example of why I have held on for all these years. Sing until you can not sing another note Susan. You've proven them wrong. All of them and God bless you for that.

If Susan can do it then so can I. There are companies that have said the total opposite for decades and Susan showed them all in a few seconds that the voice or talent matters first and not last. If Susan Boyles doesn't need a marketing strategy then neither do I. Talent is talent. Frankly,I couldn't be happier with my choice to stick to my guns. I play for the people and I always will no matter what. My fans/ supporters give me honest love and they really care. I live to do the same. Fun is not a crime.

As a brown man of potent history I've been given every excuse in the book, including myself as the reason, as to why I did not fit the model. What model? Now that there's a Susan Boyles on TV there is no model. Right is right and they were wrong. Bravo Susan .

I'm lovin' what's going on right now. Ladies I can't thank you enough for how supportive you've all been since I started my career. The females showed up in record numbers. My old boss Betty Carter gave me some knowledge a long time ago that get's more and more true by the day. Ladies don't have to defend the things they like so much in terms of music. Either it's good or it's not. All my dudes who came out are appreciated as well. You all keep me strong. I do it for you all.

I know from my experiences , both past and present, that to perform live or to perform anything you have to have the talent and a professional skill level . If you sing or play an instrument you are on the right track because that gives you the power of invention. Invention is the same as being new. If something is new people are more likely to buy it. No amount of promotion or TV time can buy a person's talent. I also know that all of the greats that I revere in any way are a part of this " school of live performing " . IT IS ABSOLUTELY KEY TO MUSIC BEING NEW AND HELPFUL TO EVERY MUSICIAN COMPOSING IT,PERFORMING IT AND CULTIVATING IT FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.

Why should you care what I think? I come highly recommended and I'm very serious about my music . If your favorite name lip syncs or samples he or she is , in my opinion, not of musical heritage.
